“Transform your mind, transform your life.”
This slogan suggests that meditation can help people transform their lives by transforming their minds.
Misconceptions about meditation often lead to a sense of struggle and thus a lack of enjoyment in the spiritual path. In this course, Tony Samara leads us through a deep discussion about the concept of meditation, its misconceptions, and the role of the mind in the process. Yet, he emphasises the importance of not trying to silence the mind during meditation, instead, taking the time to observe and understand it.

One such perception of reality, is the belief that meditation requires a silent mind, as often the mental chatter increases during meditation, leading the meditator to experience frustration, and the inability to find freedom. And, as such becomes a habit, elements of negative self-judgment creep in, controlling the inner and outer narratives.
In this course, Tony Samara will remind us that meditation is a transformative state of consciousness, and that freedom from compulsive identification with thoughts is possible through meditation.
Additionally, although meditation is about observing thoughts without getting attached to them, nothing needs to change for you to experience a state of awakening, and nothing can impede your path to liberation, irrespective of your situation.
Throughout the lesson, Tony encourages our deep meditational practice, so that the mind can become more creative and in alignment with consciousness, leading to higher realms of understanding and freedom.
